I've officially become a snob

The Evidence:
1. Yesterday I wanted soup and Shawn and I are overdue on making a Trader Joe run, so I went over to Deals and bought a can of condensed tomato soup.
A. I mixed it with soymilk.
B. I couldn't even finish it because I've gotten so used to homemade soups or higher quality canned
soups that I could actually taste the high fructose corn syrup. Tomato soup does not need to be sweet.
2. I'm visiting an old friend today. She called me at 11 AM and left a message (because I was still in bed) saying she was getting some food and a couple bottles of wine and wanted to know if I like red or white. I'm going there to hang out just in the afternoon and I listened to the message before even having my coffee and after a night of drinking with Amy and Wendy. So I called her back to tell her I usually don't start drinking till evening. She said that's fine, it'll just be for her and her boyfriend, but asked if I wanted some wine coolers. Um, no. So she asked if I wanted anything else and I said to just get me some bottled water. She was like, "Just water? You don't drink pop?" Nope. Just water.
Oh yeah. Liberal Elite Snobville, here I come.
However, I also bought a bag of generic sour cream and onion chips at Deals that I've been scarfing down like nobody's business. So I guess I'm not a complete lost case yet.
