1. Carnivale: The awesome show on HBO that takes place at a travelling circus in the 30's. I feel bad because Shawn and I actually fell severely behind with the episodes for the 2nd season because we were watching them on his computer and it was cramped and not easy to watch. I think we'll just get the DVDs.
2. Crafty Projects: Despite how much I talk about them, I'm really not a craft diva. I just discovered a while back that I can actually make things as opposed to buying things all the time. And hand crafted gifts are more fun to give than something bought, and people are much happier with something that took time to make. Of course you have to buy the materials for crafts, so it doesn't cut down on shopping at all...just takes it to a different level.
3. Elizabeth McGrath: Check out her stuff at her website. She's a spooky artist with the coolest handmade bats ever!

5. Six Feet Under: Another HBO show about a family that lives in a funeral home. I admit that I wasn't crazy with the direction of the characters for the last season, but the end was very satisfying.
6. Suede: The band, not the fabric. London Suede. Got into them in college and they're still one of my favorites.
7. Tori Amos: I'll admit, some of her newer stuff is getting a little annoying, but put in Boys For Pele or Under the Pink and I'm a very happy girl.
