I'm importing the Cure's "Wish" onto my ipod. I can't believe it's taken me this long.

The holidays are upon us. Is it bad that I'm more excited about [livejournal.com profile] bibliomouse's Anti-Turkey potluck than the actual Thanksgiving dinner? But I'm thankful that this year I get to spend the holidays with Shawn. That's something that's never really happened...if anything we try to split things in two, go to my house and then his or something like that. I love my family, and it's actually pretty fun to hang out with them, but I don't have any siblings and my cousins haven't visited for the holidays in years, so I get a little bored being the only one my age. I'm actually looking forward to being able to host holidays if Shawn and I ever get a bigger place. Someday...

I got my haircut by my friend Nick last week. He did an amazing job...he dyed it a very shiny blue-black, thinned out the underneath part so it's a lot lighter, and straightened it. It'll curl back up as soon as water touches it, but I always enjoy having it straight for a few days. It's so much easier to style...just brush and go. I'm looking forward to seeing how it looks curly now that it's not as thick.
